Autumn

Roots, ancestry, the descent. Lineage. Past lives. Fire to burn what does not come with you into winter. Held with care if your family story is hard or unknown. Been there. Still there.

Winter

The Crone, shadow, depth. Stillness as practice. The witch wound. Owning being older, stranger, less interested in being looked at. Water magic. Death and rebirth.

Spring

The Maiden, breath, play. Persephone with mud on her feet and a smile on her face. The first wobbly steps. The spiral method becomes a thing you can actually do.

Summer

The Mother, joy, glamour. Spellcasting from your own stories. Sigils. Sex magic. Mirror magic. Dance. Joy as power. Fully showing up as the embodied witch.

I'm Jess. I have been a witch since I was very small.

When I was 10 I found a beauty spell to Aphrodite at the library. I cast it on the floor of my Baptist mother's bedroom while she was at work.

I hid it well for two decades. I had a fancy career and burnt out of it twice. I stopped drinking and smoking on the same day. I went into somatic therapy. My abilities came back the second I stopped caring what other people thought.
